Our Symposium
The aim of 2026 ASABE global symposium is to promote the use of microirrigation in agriculture that is a partial solution to the global crisis on water shortage.
Join us at the Punta Borinquen Resort in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico - USA from January 10-18, 2026, to be a part of this event.
Our Strategy
Our strategy is to bring together experts from various fields to discuss and promote the use of microirrigation as a solution to the global water shortage crisis. We aim to create a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration between academia, research, industry, and farmers.
Safety
In Drip Irrigation Systems, safety is the top priority. Also, organizers are committed to ensuring the safety of all our attendees and staff. We will be taking all necessary precautions to ensure a safe and healthy environment during the symposium. Golden rule is to apply chemicals via irrigation during middle cycle of irrigation; and never inject on the suction side of pump head. Also use all safety valves.
Environment & Sustainability
We believe that microirrigation is a sustainable solution to the global water shortage crisis. By the use of microirrigation, water wastage can be reduced, and crop yield is increased compared to traditional gravitational. Our symposium will feature discussions on the environmental and sustainability aspects of microirrigation. Government of India is promoting sustainable microirrigation through its program more crop per drop & double farmer's income.
